Russ Christenson
Elder
 I’m Russ Christenson, I lived
and graduated from Rosemount High School, more than a few years ago.
After two years of schooling in Aircraft mechanics, I set out for
Louisiana and the Offshore oil platforms to work on helicopters. It’s
down south that I met and married a true southern bell. We lived in
Texas and Louisiana for 5 years before I brought her kicking and
screaming up here to Minnesota, where I got a job at Northwest Airlines.
We have been married 28 years to my wonderful wife Pam and have to great children; Jessica 24
and Brian 19. I also have a wonderful son-in-law Carlos.
I have been a part of The River for about five years now and a
commissioned minister for three of those years. I was given the great
privilege of becoming an Elder in January of this year. I am currently
attending Northwestern College working on getting my bachelor’s degree
in ministry, with the eventual goal of becoming one of the licensed
Pastors on staff. I have a heart for counseling, and have a strong
desire to see the men become all that God has for them.
