Hi, I’m Laura Rand, an Associate Pastor at the River. I grew up in Farmington and graduated from High School here. After graduation I went to the University of Minnesota Mankato. My focus was Economics for which I obtained a bachelors degree. Shortly after Graduating from Mankato I met my husband (Rocky) who led me to a saving relationship with Jesus. We were married in 1990 and have two children, Allen 17 and Betty 13. In 2001 when the River Church was getting started I came on as a member of the foundation team. I felt the call to go into ministry full time and became a Commissioned Minister in 2003. Graduated with a Masters degree in Theology with a concentration in Apologetics in 2009. I was issued a Ministers License by the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches in 2009. My passion is to see people come to the saving grace of Jesus. To expand the kingdom of God and to see people set free.
